Welcome to Rojas Fishing Charters

Rojas Charters offers the finest shallow water fishing in the country - just 35 minutes south of New Orleans. Coming from a family of commercial shrimp and crab fisherman, I was born and raised in the Barataria/Lafitte area, and have fished and hunted these marshes my entire life.

We catch redfish, speckled trout, flounder, black drum, sheepshead, and bass. During your trip you may see wildlife such as pelicans, ducks, bald eagles, blue and white herons, nutria, raccoons, otters and alligators! Come down to the bayou where everyone is treated like family and the fishing is as good as the food we eat!

The inland waterways used by Rojas Charters are unaffected by the recent Deepwater Horizon tragedy. All current projections do not indicate any danger to our part of Louisiana, where the fishing is as good as its ever been. We welcome any questions that you may have.
